Asks the Question Box "what should I do about all the broken statues, worn-out prayerbooks, old Catholic calendars, and fragments of rosary beads I have lying around?" [St. Fidgeta & Other Parodies, 40].
Who this is or what the letters stand for is probably lost, though we had to ask Al Myers if he thought his initials meant anything in this context.
"It could be an oblique reference to my mother, not my wife, who was not on the scene at this time. Not that my mother kept around fragments of old statues, rosary beads, etc., but John was close to my mother during this era (or just before). As a matter of fact, my copy of St. Fidgeta is hand-inscribed by John to my mother and father."
