| Studium Monastery (Constantinople) |
Monastery in Constantinople where there might have been an icon of St. Fidgeta [St. Fidgeta & Other Parodies, 18].
Once one of the most respected monasteries in old Constantinople, today it stands in ruins in the south-east part of Istanbul. Created in 462, it was the leadership of St. Theodore the Studite (759-826) that brought the building its major fame. |
