Yuggoth
In the curious tower of King Gorm of the South Kingdom, "a couple of planets are doing a horn-pipe, and before long-apocalypse! I think we must blame the terrible black planet Yuggoth, which rolls aimlessly in the stupefying darkness" [The Face in the Frost, 50].

Yuggoth pops up in the mirror on Jonathan Barnavelt's hat rack, one of the magical items prone to showing strange, faraway scenes. Lewis remembers some of the things he had seen in the mirror, including "the horrid landscape of the dreaded planet Yuggoth as it rolled through the midnight gulfs between the stars" [The Doom of the Haunted Opera, 57]. One does have to wonder how young Lewis knows the planet really is the one in question.

Another H.P. Lovecraft allusion. According to the Cthulhu Lexicon, this planet is the name for the ninth planet in our solar system, popularly known as Pluto, or perhaps some other object further out from Neptune. It was also upon Yuggoth that the artifact known as the Shining Trapezohedron was created and kept until the Old Ones took it from there and brought it with them to Earth. Lovecraft also had a rather lengthy poem entitled "Fungi from Yuggoth."
